The community is located about 7 miles north-northwest of Tampa, Florida in Hillsborough County, and includes the beautiful neighborhood of Carrollwood Village. With a vast selection of large lots and a tropical landscape lining the streets, the community has a very suburban feel in the middle of the Tampa Bay Area hustle and bustle.

Carrollwood Country Club - founded in 1972, Carrollwood Country Club was the largest in the Tampa Bay Area. it went through major renovations in 2003 and in 2013 updates to the course turf, resurfacing tennis courts, new pool landscaping and furniture, 2 Bocce Ball courts and seating areas. These updates and renovations has made the CCC one of the best around. The amenities include: 27 holes of Championship Golf, full service clubhouse with banquet facilities, full social calendar, 8 Har-Tru Tennis Courts and a Jr. Olympic size swimming pool.

Carrollwood Cultural Center - the cultural center located in the middle of Carrollwood Village, was built to bring young and old together within the community and allow strangers become friends. The campus includes a 26,000-sq. ft. center with a stage, dance floor, art studios, computer lab and conference rooms as well as a sister building, The Studio, which provides additional space for classes, performances, room rentals and gallery displays. The Carrollwood Cultural Center offers camps for young, classes and groups for all ages, as well as events throughout the month to bring the community together. 

School, Health & Transportation

Carrollwood has 3 elementary schools, 1 middle school, 3 high schools, and a prep school that serve the area. They are a part of the Hillsborough Couty Schools, which is ranked the 8th largest school district in the U.S. with around 189, 469 enrolled students. It runs 203 schools, 133 elementary, 42 middle, and 27 high schools.

Carrollwood has many local health clinics available for its residents everyday needs. The Tampa Bay Area has over 20 hospitals, 4 trauma centers, and Cancer treatment centers. The major hospitals include Tampa General Hospital and St. Joseph’s Children’s & Women’s Hospital.

Most residents of Carrollwood use cars as their main mean of transportation. Being so close to Tampa, Florida, residents of Carrollwood have access to Tampa International Airport which flies throughout the world.
